Hana Tour went on paid leave this past March-May when sales dropped sharply in the aftermath of Corona 19 and has taken unpaid leave since June excluding essential staff.
Until this month, the government subsidy for maintaining employment allows employees to receive 50% of their base salary, but from next month they will not be able to receive any salary.
In the third quarter of this year, Hana Tour’s number of outbound (overseas travel) passengers decreased 99.9% compared to the same period last year and an operating loss of 30.24 billion won on base consolidated has increased, making management difficult.
