A HUGE flying beast the size of a small plane was found in the Gobi Desert.
The dinosaur had huge 36-foot long wings and would have been one of the largest winged reptiles ever known to live on Earth.
The giant lived 70 million years ago in a hot desert-like climate but not quite as dry as it is today.
At that time there were many dinosaurs wandering around, the offspring of which would be the dinner for this great beast.
It was part of a mysterious branch of dinosaurs known as azhdarchids and was arguably one of the largest that ever lived, the researchers say in the study published in the Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology.
It joins another large dinosaur, from the same family called Hatzegopteryx, which was unearthed earlier this year.
Discovered in Romania, the terrifying bird had a huge neck and jaws that could swallow entire dinosaurs the size of a horse.
The region of the Gobi Desert where the last fossil was discovered is called the Nemegt Formation.
It houses numerous incredible Jurassic Park-style artifacts dating back to the Cretaceous period.
BIRD BRAINED How dinosaurs transformed into birds 100 million years ago when their BRAINS started expanding
But this is the first time the fossil spot has produced a pterosaur, demonstrating just how international the species was.
The team worked on these new gigantic-sized discoveries by predicting the neck fossil pieces that have to go through, predicting its footprint would be the same as the Hatzegopteryx which had a wingspan of up to 39 feet.
