Ethereum: will it continue to grow?

[ad_1]

One of the largest intelligent blockchain protocols in the world is Ethereum and in this ever-growing digital world, it is growing at a fast pace.

As co-creator of Ethereum and founder of New York-based blockchain software studio ConsenSys, Joseph Lubin states:

"Blockchain is more than a market, it's a movement, market capitalization does not reflect (sic) activity, decentralized networks are growing, 10 billion daily API requests served by Infura, 1 million truffle downloads. 1 million MetaMask downloads, 12,000 eternal living nodes, 48 million unique Ethereum addresses 3 times LinkedIn's blockchain job openings. "

The three main products of Ethereum are Infura, Truffle and MetaMask and represent the backbone of the digital heritage infrastructure.

With Infura, it is a node infrastructure that processes requests on popular applications. Truffle is a blockchain development framework of Ethereum that allows developers to build on blockchain products and MetaMask is perhaps one of the most widely used Ethereum and ERC20 portfolio that works on Infura.

About a month ago, reports came out saying that the three blockchain tools had reached new levels, while Infura exceeded ten billion requests, Truffle got one million downloads and MetaMask launched a new mobile client.

Although the constant bearish trend we saw in 2018 – where Ethereum lost more than 90% of its value from the January 13th peak – the blockchain protocol user base has increased significantly and the infrastructure in support of the ecosystem it has considerably strengthened.

As reported by CCN, the founder of ConsenSys stated that the use of Ethereum in developing countries as the Philippines began to increase, with the Philippines linking rural banks through a system of payments in cryptocurrency, an initiative led by one of the largest banks in the country, Unione Banca.

If you think that the Ethereum ecosystem has continued to see growth in the last year, regardless of the performance of larger cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin XRP and Litecoin, Lubin is still optimistic about the long-term growth we will see from Ethereum to say :

"I believe in blockchain technology because of the people behind it – the developers, engineers and technologists that build it – the experts in the intelligent contract that control and protect the code – designers who are deeply concerned with the experience of user: marketers who tell the story of Web3. "
