Joseph Lubin, the co-founder of Ethereum [ETH], recently took on Twitter to note how the Ethereum blockchain is slowly improving the financial and technological infrastructure of many developing countries. Lubin has appointed Chile and the Philippines as the first to adopt.
The performance of Ethereum was not at the height of the sign this year, however, Lubin, who is also the well-known founder of ConsenSys, a software production studio, is promoting it through its technology.
The National Commission for Energy of Chile has also adopted Ethereum at the beginning of this year. They said they chose Ethereum for its ability to "increase levels of security, integrity, traceability and trust in publicly available information".
The nation had adapted the Ethereum test blockchain to track energy data. The Ministry expressed its appreciation for providing its data and for helping to counteract hacking and manipulation, reported Newsbtc.
Likewise, the Philipines Union Bank had also collaborated with the ConsenSys of Lubin to develop Ethereum-based banking solutions for rural areas of the country. The decision was made when a survey was conducted by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, noted the country's national bank, which 77% of Filipinos have been paid out.
According to the publication, Union Bank President Justo Ortiz said Ethereum's blockchain technology would help them "open the door to financial inclusivity".
Lubin went all out on Twitter on the technological advantages through blockchain and people responsible for it. Lubin tweeted:
"I believe in
#blockchain technology because of the people behind it. The developers, engineers and technologists who#BUIDL The intelligent contract experts who control and protect the code The designers who care about the users' experience The marketers who tell the story of Web3 ".
