Elon Musk tests positive (and negative) for Covid after showing symptoms

Entrepreneur Elon Musk, suffering from fever and other symptoms, took a quick Covid test and tested positive. He took three more, resulting in a total of two positive tests and two negative tests. Then he went to Twitter to report the tests.

Something extremely bogus is happening. Today it has been covid tested four times. Two tests were negative, two were positive. Same machine, same test, same nurse. Rapid BD antigen test.

“‘Elon Musk Tests Negative for Covid’ is an equally correct title,” Musk added. “BD’s ‘rapid antigen test’ appears to be as useful as tossing a coin.”

Musk, who considers blockades and other disease containment measures “fascist”, has reason to doubt the rapid results.

First, the US Food and Drug Administration, among others, has noted that false positives can occur with some Covid antigen tests.

Second, he’s already made a fool of himself with Covid’s predictions and it would be doubly embarrassing if he caught the disease himself.
