Lebanon came in second with 286.8 tons of gold, which makes up 30% of its total reserves.
And in third place is Algeria, which owns 173.6 tons of gold, equal to 13.9% of its total international reserves.
Libya came in fourth with around 116.6 tons of gold, which makes up 7.5% of its reserves.
Gold reserves in Iraq reached 96.3 tons, which make up 7.6% of state reserves, ranking fifth among Arab countries.
Egypt bought 0.1 tons of gold, increasing its yellow metal reserves by 0.13% in April, as it held the 40th position in the world in April, but increased its holding to 79.5 tons later. having owned a volume of 79.4 tons in March, representing 11% of its gold reserves and ranking sixth among Arab countries.
And in seventh place among the Arab countries is Kuwait, which owns 79 tons of the yellow metal, which constitutes 9.7% of its reserves.
Jordan was ranked eighth among the ten countries, with 43.5 tons of gold in its reserves, which make up 15.5%.
Qatar’s possession of the yellow metal has reached 42.2 tons, ranking ninth among the Arab countries, which makes up 5.8% of its reserves.
The possession of the yellow metal by the United Arab Emirates amounted to 31.3 tons, which represents 1.6% of all reserves contained in it at the end of April.
