The courts of the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) will publish the world's first blockchain court.
The aim of this project is to find out how the blockchain is useful for verifying court judgments implicit in courts other than DIFC, according to local media reports.
Blockchain is an electronic transaction process. It gives people the ability to follow their information and verify everything on their own without the involvement of a third party.
"By exploiting blockchain technology, Dubai will be at the forefront of legal-technological and judicial innovation, setting the standards for the countries and magistrates to follow," said Amna Al Owais, CEO and Chancellor of DIFC Courts.
