GUAYNABO, Puerto Rico – (BUSINESS WIRE) – January 2, 2019 – Dealer Market Exchange officially launched DMX University and announced a $ 150,000 scholarship fund to support the formation of 100 blockchain developer resources in Puerto Rico. If DMX University were to succeed, Puerto Rico could become one of the highest concentrations of blockchain developer talent in the world today.
Under the leadership of DMX Foundry, a business blockchain and AI innovation lab under DMX, a new DMX University online program consisting of multiple levels of "novice" to "expert" training will be launched at the start of next year.

The DMX university program director, Omar González, a native of Puerto Rico and Hyperledger Certified Expert, says the program will consist of 4 levels, with the ultimate goal of having a pool of potential talent potential from DMX, reportedly some of the most competitive payment rates found anywhere in the United States.
Hyperledger is a conglomerate of open source blockchain projects and tools focused on creating efficient and decentralized transactional applications. They have received support from leaders in the financial, banking, supply chain, manufacturing, Internet of Things and technology industries, including companies known as Intel, IBM and SAP, among others.
González explains that each level of training was designed as a multi-level program to reach the "expert" level in the development of the Hyperledger software; one of the most sought-after development skills in blockchain.
The training program will accept beginners and seasoned candidates alike. The University intends to reward 100 qualified candidates with fully funded scholarships to become "Hyperledger Blockchain Certified" by DMX University.
Twenty graduates will be selected for a further training opportunity; up to ten graduates of whom are destined to be part of the pool of candidates who can be offered positions within DMX at the end of their studies.
All graduates of the program will be invited to participate in the DMX university partnership program, where directional support will be provided for placement with DMX affiliates and partners looking for qualified graduates.

The DMX university is scheduled for April 1, 2019 and, it is said, will be the first institution created in Puerto Rico to provide a new technology training program for the benefit of both private and government sectors.
