The number of Corona virus deaths and infections increased in 6 Arab countries on Wednesday after new cases were recorded, according to official statistics.
In Morocco, the Ministry of Health announced that the death toll had risen to 182, after a case was registered, while the number of injured had reached 5,000 and 382, after 163 wounded were reported.
The ministry said, via the virus website, that the number of people recovered from the disease had risen to 1,969, after 131 infected people were cured.
In Kuwait, the Ministry of Health announced in a statement that 485 were injured and two dead.
The ministry reported that the total number of injuries increased to 6,289, including 42 deaths and 2,219 recoveries.
In Yemen, the Taiz governorate (southwest) recorded the first death in Corona, bringing the toll to 5, while the number of injured has stabilized at 22.
A Yemeni medical source told Anadolu Agency, preferring not to be named, that an injured person died in the Republican Governmental Teaching Hospital in Taiz.
He added that the deceased was a man in his forties, which was the first injury recorded in Taiz on Friday.
Yemen recorded a total of 22 epidemic cases, 5 of which died and one recovered.
In Qatar, the Ministry of Health announced in a statement that 830 injuries were recorded, bringing the total to 17,972.
The ministry indicated that the total number of injuries, including 12 deaths, 2,000 and 70 have recovered, while deaths have stabilized at 12.
In the Sultanate of Oman, the Ministry of Health announced that the total number of injuries had risen to 2,903 after 168 cases were recorded.
The ministry said on Twitter that the number of people recovered from the virus has reached 888, while deaths have stabilized at 13.
In Lebanon, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of 9 injured, bringing the total to 750, of which 213 recovered, while the deaths have stabilized at 25.
