Health officials warn of potential exposure to the COVID-19 virus at three restaurants in Whistler.

Vancouver Coastal Health says anyone who visited Earls Kitchen + Bar on Blackcomb Way from October 31 to November 6 should be monitoring symptoms.

The health authority also warned of potential exposure on October 31 at Buffalo Bill’s Bar & Grill on Village Green in Whistler.

A third potential exposure, al The Longhorn Saloon, occurred on October 31st during the evening hours.

Those who have visited these restaurants are believed to be at low risk of contracting the virus, but are asked to monitor for symptoms.

The COVID-19 virus is spread via respiratory droplets when a sick person coughs or sneezes. It can also be spread when a healthy person touches an object or surface such as a doorknob or table.

Most people who contract COVID-19 have only mild illness, but some people can get very sick and may need to go to the hospital.
