Vancouver Coastal Health asks patrons of two Whistler restaurants to self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19 after possible exposure to the virus was reported during the week that began with the Halloween celebrations.
In a couple of tweets sent Tuesday, VCH officials said there were potential exhibits at both Earls Kitchen and Bar on Blackcomb Way and Buffalo Bill’s Bar and Grill in Village Green in the resort town.
The exhibits at both plants are believed to have taken place between October 31 and November 6, according to the tweets.

The risk is low, officials said, but anyone who has visited one of the sites is asked to independently monitor for symptoms of the disease.
The Vancouver Coastal Health website states that COVID-19 is spread via respiratory droplets when a person who is ill coughs or sneezes.
The disease can also spread when a healthy person touches an object or surface with the virus on it and then touches their mouth, nose, or eyes before washing their hands.
