Censorship in cryptocurrencies and sect behavior

Yesterday I was looking for one of my favorite MLM schemes (cult) in cryptocurrency. Unfortunately for them, their wheels seem to fall. One of their main sellers, who has been around since the beginning and has built most of their network, seems to have become a thief. After falling with the CEO, he has now been expelled from the company.

This led to a heated debate in their Telegram chat – a wonderful place of disappointment. For this particular community, the reasons for the dismissal of this seller (which is rather risky, it must be said) are still largely unknown. The problem for the administrators of this chat is that they do not know their own reasons, emphasizing the disconnection between the upper level and the lower level, or they do not want to reveal what is happening for fear of a further negative press and more questions from the own community.

Instead of having a debate, the general bans were distributed to anyone who discussed it, and it was as if the topic of the conversation had never been raised three hours later. The message was clear: do not question authority and do not criticize. Having a dictator in a cryptocurrency will never work too well.

The censorship of cryptocurrency communities has been a hot topic for many. I am in favor of some form of moderation. Otherwise, forums and chat rooms can fall into a conspiracy absurdity and the discussion becomes weak. However, there is a distinct difference in what is happening here. Within this particular community, every interrogation of the omnipotent leader is an absolute sin. They have become closer to a cult. You have to follow and you do not have to do too many difficult questions. Criticism is attributed to negativity.

Negativity is the ruin of their existence. Being a project and a currency so terrible, it has failed consistently since the beginning. Therefore, there are many criticisms from the community. Unable to argue with this criticism means that they have to resort to saying that people are negative and just want to see them fail because of jealousy.

The censorship is not ideal. Ideally, what you want to see is that people are able to say what they want. Unfortunately, many people are not able to have intelligent and consistent discussions. However, the censorship at the point where members are banned over and over again to ask difficult questions is a sign that you are in a cult and have invested in a currency that will never succeed.

Those involved in the particular sect I am discussing here can read this piece. I doubt they will be aware enough that I understand that I am discussing them.
