Can the gaming industry trigger the adoption of blockchain? CEO of the gaming platform MyEtherPony shares his vision – BlockPublisher

The gaming industry is one of the biggest advocates of blockchain technology and is one of its most important applications. The games prove to be a case of effective use of the blockchain and cryptocurrency utility and of the players, usually belonging to technology-oriented communities such as the mind that generally love space.

MyEtherPony is just the kind of platform that uses blockchain with its simultaneous use in games. It is a digital game implemented on blockchain, in which users can collect and exchange digital objects in the form of ponies. Furthermore, the market is unique as it allows for the rising price auction (English auction) just like on eBay. So basically, it's like eBay on the blockchain of games. This means that users who own ponies may have the potential to get a good price for their ponies if there are enough bidders – making it fun and engaging. The gaming platform adopts the game token known as DEKLA (DKL), which is a utility token in the gaming ecosystem.

Managing Director of MyEtherPony, Mr. Amir Irwan was speaking to BlockPublisher, where he shared his opinion that the gaming industry could trigger the adoption of mainstream blockchain / cryptocurrency. He said:

I think the gaming industry can trigger this massive consumer adoption. The size of the gaming industry is more than $ 100 billion a year with millions of users and these users are mostly technology experts. It's an open secret among game developers that many gaming technologies have been applied outside of their industry.

Mr. Irwan continued to pursue the usefulness and usability of blockchain for game developers, stating that it is a challenge for modern game developers to take the blockchain and pioneer towards the adoption of mainstream users. He continued:

In addition, game developers have always looked for ways to make their games more user-friendly and intuitive to increase their user base. It would be interesting to see how game developers take this challenge of making encryption and blockchain a mainstream technology.

Mr. Irwan, an experienced technology and IoT entrepreneur, has now begun to explore the blockchain space and his MyEtherPony project is a testament to his interests and efforts. Being a supporter of the technology outlook, he revealed that MyEtherPony aims to improve the user experience on their platform, which is why they are pursuing blockchain as a solution. He shared his hope that his project will play the necessary role in maintaining the blockchain ecosystem and in helping large-scale public adoption. He has declared:

In MyEtherPony, we are taking this challenge seriously and looking for ways to improve the user experience especially for those unfamiliar with crypto / blockchain. We hope to contribute with our part to the introduction of blockchain technology and to educate the masses in the simplest way possible.

MyEtherPony is set to launch on January 5 in the new year and further input from Mr. Irwan's interview will be followed.
