Last Friday, the co-creator of Ethereum received an honorary degree from the University of Basel. The faculty of economics and business of the Swiss university honored Buterin for his work on blockchain development at the annual celebration of its foundation in 1460.
In a tweet ad, the university called Buterin an "exceptionally creative and innovative thinker who was instrumental in shaping the digital revolution from an early age".
