RMIT Online, in collaboration with the Accenture and fintech Stone & Chalk hub, announced the launch of two blockchain-focused courses that should provide students with an overview " complete "of technology.
According to RMIT, the courses will describe in detail how to design the blockchain infrastructure and how to think strategically about the implementation of a blockchain solution "in the core of their activities".
The new courses follow a short course – Developing Blockchain Strategy: RMIT's Managing Director Online Helen Souness has declared sold out in 48 hours.

The design of Blockchain solutions and the development of Blockchain applications start on October 8, 2018 and November 12, 2018.
RMIT, in collaboration with the Credly digital credential platform, has also been launched this month. # 39; initiative that provides students receive digital credentials enabled for blockchain.

The university established the RMIT Blockchain Innovation Hub in September, touted as the world's first research center focusing on the social sciences of the blockchain.
At the time, RMIT argued that blockchain technology was becoming a core infrastructure for the global economy and that expected distributed ledger technology "revolutionized the business as we know it" in the next years.
The hub aims to develop an interdisciplinary research group focusing on economic, cultural and social implications and on the impacts of blockchain technologies; collaborate with industry to share research, ensure that students are ready for work when they graduate and provide solutions and advice for the business; develop and implement policies and measures relevant to the sector of the size and impact of the blockchain economy; and engage with government, policymakers, stakeholders and public debate on the social and political impact of blockchain technology
