A two-day conference on the blockchain saw deliberations between law experts and technologists on the challenges and use of the new technology.

The international conference on "Blockchain, Crypto currency and Digital Assets: Regulatory Framework" which ended on Sunday was an exchange of ideas between experts and students.

The experts were of the opinion that the blockchain could be used to guarantee the cadastral documentation and the verification of school certificates. They also said that technology is used in medicine and suggested that patient records can be placed on the blockchain. In this way they would be easily accessible, but only by those who are authorized to do so. They also discussed how to deal with the large energy and power requirements for blockchain.
