Black Friday starts November 27, and numerous Apple devices will then be available at a lower price on Apple, Amazon, Media Markt and Saturn. But even now there are some offers.
Black Friday is actually a very American institution: since the Friday after Thanksgiving is considered the start of the holiday shopping season, there are “bells” and other bargains galore. And for some years now you have been able to save a lot in this country too. And not only on November 27 itself, but also in the days before: in the so-called Black Friday week, shops such as Media Markt, Saturn, Amazon & Co. already offer many bargains. Including Apple devices. For example, the Apple Watch Series 5 on Amazon and the iPhone SE with 128GB of storage are currently shrinking.
Black Friday on Apple
There will also likely be a suitable campaign by Apple itself on November 27, usually called a “shopping event”. The discounts on the iPhone 12 and Macbook M1 should be lower than in previous years. In 2019, when purchasing certain products, you received an Apple Store voucher with a credit of up to 200 euros, staggered according to the price of the Apple products purchased.
Also in 2018, Apple Store vouchers were added for about four days for some purchases: buyers of an iPad Pro or iPad Mini received a $ 100 voucher card, while those who bought a Mac received $ 200. Unfortunately, these vouchers can only be redeemed in the Apple Store. There will likely be such action again in 2020. It is also conceivable that Apple will give a pair of Airpods to the purchase of certain Macs or iPads.
Black Friday in other stores
The sales campaign is also starting in numerous other German stores, including Apple devices. For legal reasons, there were restrictions on the use of the name “Black Friday” in Germany and these problems seem to have been resolved in the meantime.
As in previous years, Media Markt continues to rely on its “alternative” name: “Red Friday” will therefore start on November 27, 2020. Big discounts are promised on this day, the campaign will start on November 27 at 00:00 and will run for three days, until the so-called Cyber Monday. Media Markt Club members should, however, have access to these bargains a little earlier.
“Black November” is currently still running at the Media Markt, where you can get discounts on many products before the official Black Friday. On Singles Day (November 11), for example, there was 11% on all purchases, including Apple devices like iPhones or iPads. However, the new models were excluded from the campaign.
On Sunday, November 22, the Black Friday week starts at 9pm (for Club members from 6pm) at the Media Markt, during which one or the other Apple product is also scheduled.

Black Friday in Saturn
Also in Saturn, from 27 November 2020 until “Cyber Monday”, there will be strong discounts for “smartphones to fully automatic coffee machines”. As for Media Markt, the campaign lasts three days: from 11/27/2020 at 00:00 until Monday inclusive. As with Media Markt, there appears to be preferential treatment for customers with the new Saturn Card: they can receive limited offers upfront.
From Saturn you will also find many cheaper products early in “Black November”. For Black Friday you will also have discounts on iPhone 11, Macbook and iPad models. Recently introduced Apple devices such as the iPhone 12 or Macbook M1 will also be excluded from any discounts.
Like Media Markt, Saturn also starts its Black Friday week on November 22 at 9pm (6pm for card members). Saturn has already announced that there will be, among other things, the iPhone with 64 GB of storage space less.

Amazon
Black Friday has been running on Amazon since October 26th. At least until November 19, all offers were called “Early Black Friday Deals”. On November 20, the Black Friday week on Amazon began with many new offers, before ending November 27 with Black Friday and Cyber Monday on November 30. As with Saturn and Media Markt, customers registered with a Prime subscription are preferred.
Upfront there are currently discounted accessories from Apple, such as iPad pencils and keyboards.
Black Friday on Notebooksbilliger
The so-called Black Week on Notebooksbiliger.de will also start on Monday 27 November. Offer week starts on Monday and, like other stores, ends on Cyber Monday. Unusual on Notebooksbilliger is a voucher system, you have to enter a specific code to receive the discount. The final price is then displayed in the cart. The software offerings are likely to be of particular interest to Apple users. From today until 23.11. there are some very cheap offers for Adobe software.

Which Apple devices are getting cheaper?
It is not known which Apple products are cheaper at vendors such as Saturn, Cyberport and Media Markt. Most importantly, we can expect discounts on products such as Airpods, Airpods Pro, and iPad, which have already been offered at significantly lower prices over the past few days and weeks at various promotions. Apple Watches are likely to be on offer as well. We also suspect high discounts on the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro, as these models have also been reduced in the past promotion. Discounts on a Macbook Air with an M1 CPU or Macbook Pro M1, just like on the new iPhone 12 models, are less likely, as new Apple products are usually excluded from special offers.
