A Twitter user has posted a bizarre music video that urges stores to take cryptocurrencies as a legal payment.
The song, called "BitPay – Black Friday Bitcoin Song", was released by the user Twitter Crypto Finally, which produces music videos on the industry.
It is set to the notes of the viral success of Rebecca Black "Friday" and presents texts that slam the shops to not accept cryptography.
"The losers of Fiat, stealing, FUD (fear, uncertainty, doubt), trying to convince me to sell in the race to the bear, get with my BitPay," are among the lyrics of the song.
The reaction was mixed.
YouTube comments include: "This video is so rabid that it triggered the sell-off" and "It's actually more cancerous than the original."
But the supporters said: "Brilliant! It's a yes from me!" And "He has a beautiful voice".
BitPay's YouTube channel commented, "Whoa! We love this and we are over flattered.
"We are so happy that you have had the opportunity to use the card to shop in other places that are a little bit behind the technology adoption curve.
"Let's say you've overtaken Rebecca Black and, with a bit of luck, Black Friday will be a win for everyone in this video."
