Bit.ly attacks the book "Mastering Ethereum": it does not allow 200 connections
When it comes to Bitcoin advocates, there is no one prominent, expert and likeable as Andreas M. Antonopoulos, a former Greek cybersecurity expert who became fanatical about cryptocurrency. Antonopoulos, who became the face (and hair) de facto of this budding industry, became famous worldwide for his books, speeches and educational content related to popular cryptocurrency projects, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, and blockchain technologies .
After releasing and subsequently reviewing "Mastering Bitcoin: Unlocking Digital Currencies", the industry expert sought to expand its sphere of influence, expanding into Ethereum, the world's second most popular blockchain network.
Similar to his book on Bitcoin, Antonopoulos unveiled "Mastering Ethereum" as a one-stop shop for fans to learn more about the Ethereum Project, which was run by a group of developers who had a weakness for innovation .
Although many await the full publication of the praised educational content, which was made public to reflect the ethos of Bitcoin, it was recently revealed that Antonopoulos was unfortunately subject to some sobs, so to speak.
Through Twitter, the Bitcoin fanatic named Bitly, the company behind Bit.ly, a popular URL shortening platform, which apparently blocked links in the early access version of Mastering Ethereum, which will be released in December.

The author, obviously perturbed by this event, wrote:
I'm about to publish my fourth book and it's about 200 http: //bit.ly links in it. If you are going to block the links, I will have to remove all the 200 and replace them with a competitor.
Although the internet startup has not yet responded, many of the Antonopoulos fans have said that Bitly's move to consciously put warnings against certain crypto-related links is a problem with centralized systems and shows how traditionalists are afraid what is revolutionary innovation has to offer.
China Lauds Antonopoulos "Mastering Bitcoin"
Interestingly, just a week before Bitly essentially censored encryption content, China Central Television (CCTV) run by the government praised Antonopoulos' book for a national audience.

Although the television presenters spoke a lot about the primacy Bitcoin, CCTV, remaining congruent with the Chinese regulatory position on cryptographic resources, had altered the title, probably without the permission of Andreas. The title, which was obviously presented in hanzi (Chinese characters), roughly translates into "Blockchain: The Path Towards Digitized Assets".
This move accentuates the local government's move to move away from cryptocurrency, while accepting blockchain technologies with open arms – which Andreas considers a wrong practice, as clearly seen in his Youtube piece titled "Blockchain, Not Bitcoin".
The important Bitcoin expert pointed out that even if the title was "sanitized" for Chinese consumption, the in-book content, which outlines Bitcoin and the technology that supports the decentralized network, remains the same.
Looking excited by this development, which could catapult the crypto (or at least blockchain) adoption into the nation, Antonopoulos added that he "hopes to visit China next year", with his journey that is probably proposed to spread the good name of Bitcoin.
