Bavaria, Coca-Cola Colombia and Coca-Cola FEMSA, have submitted an authorization request to the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC) which allows the three companies to explore growth alternatives, mainly through the arrival in more points of sale, with a broader portfolio.
(Withdrawal of sponsorship and layoffs in Coca Cola by finance law).
With the approval of this request, the companies could maintain the existing corporate and corporate governance structures, in a framework for coordinating corporate activities.
To date, only one request for authorization has been submitted, which will be evaluated by the authority within the time limits established by law.
(Coca-Cola will enter the alcoholic beverages market).
Once the process is completed, if approval is given by the Authority, companies will be able to continue the exploration to define and formalize this alliance.
