Arab countries are able to meet the challenges of development

The Minister for Economic Affairs, Maryam Al-Aqeel, said that the Arab countries have the capacity to meet the challenges and achieve the transition to development by doubling their efforts and cooperation in the framework of joint Arab action.

He explained that the challenges for the development of a number of Arab countries and the world are witnessing the intensification of competition, the drop in global demand and the growing volatility of markets that requires "we must strengthen our Arab system to improve its development performance and achieve high rates of global and sustainable growth ".

Stresses the importance of the concerted efforts of the common Arab system of action to address labor market pressures and improve the well-being of Arab citizens, in particular through the development of human capital and benefiting from the enormous potential of youth and human resources.

The Arab Planning Institute (API) was able to contribute to capacity building, capacity building, political support and culture of sustainable development through its various programs aimed at promoting joint Arab action with contemporary development ideas.

Through its programs, the Arab Institute has also adopted ideas for development and contemporary visions that respond to challenges and focus on the priorities and needs of renewed development, as well as on the aspirations of Arab countries by providing various development services in the sectors development of skills, skills and technical and institutional support.

The first meeting of the Foundation Board of the Arab Institute was attended by Dr. Bader Mal Allah, Director General of the Institute, Dr. Khaled Mahdi, general secretary of the Supreme Council and planning and members of Arab states in the Foundation Council.
