Apple M1 surprised with the performance of Windows 10

MacBooks with Apple M1 processors first produced the Geekbench results and then the AnTuTu results. The results of both tests showed that computers with MacOS Big Sur outperform many Intel-based Mac models. But the part that many people wonder about; It was the performance that the new MacBooks likely to run Windows 10 will show with the Microsoft operating system. For this, a developer who previously announced that he was able to run Windows 10 on an ARM-based MacBook via a virtual machine took action and shared the results.

MACBOOK WINDOWS 10 LOADS BENCHMARK RESULTS WITH APPLE M1

Virtually running Windows 10, the new MacBook scored impressive results in the Geekbench test, as reported by MsPowerUser. As a result, in the tests performed in Geekbench 5, the computer managed to score 1,288 points in a single core and 5,449 points in a multi-core.

These scores don’t seem to make sense to many, but the results are different when compared to the Apple M1 processor MacBook with MacOS and Microsoft Surface Pro X.

THE SURFACE PRO X IS BACK

According to the developer’s share, the MacBook with MacOS scores 1,737 points in a single core and 7,549 points in a multi-core in the same test. Yes, Windows 10 with virtual machine does not work as well as MacOS. However, compared to the Microsoft Surface Pro X computer running Windows 10, the situation appears to be better. Because in the same test, the Surface Pro X scores 799 and 3,089 points respectively.

The conclusion to be taken here is the following; If Windows 10 virtualized on ARM for macOS can be optimized, a new Macbook can still be one of the best ways to run Windows.
