Although Apple has a monthly Arcade games service and the App Store also has a large number of games for players to choose from, they have not launched their own game controller products, mainly relying on compatibility with third party game controllers parties including Xbox and PlayStation. Xbox Series X and PS5 have recently launched, and the outside world is also concerned about the compatibility of the two new consoles’ manual controls with Apple systems.

Apple recently updated its official support website, stating that Microsoft and Apple are now Xbox Series X controllers and will be compatible with Apple’s major system platforms in future updates to work closely together. It can be expected that iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac and Apple TV users will be able to pair and use Xbox Series X manual controls on the above devices; however, Apple has not provided a relevant timetable.

The PS4 DualShock 4 controller is currently compatible with Apple’s public system platforms. While Apple has not mentioned the DualSense controller for PS5 this time around, it is estimated that it will be compatible in the future.
