Anyone who has visited the following locations on the specified date and time is requested to book a COVID-19 test immediately

Nova Scotia Health Public Health is reporting potential exposure to COVID-19 in various locations in Halifax. Public Health is currently contacting all of the companies listed below.

Anyone who has visited the following locations on the specified date and time can immediately visit covid-self-assessment.novascotia.ca/ a book a COVID-19 test, regardless of whether or not they have COVID-19 symptoms. People who book tests because they are at a site of potential COVID-19 exposure are required to self-isolate before the test and awaiting the test results. You can also call 811 if you don’t have online access or if you have other symptoms that concern you.

  • The Pint Public House (1575 Argyle St, Halifax) November 14th from 10pm onwards. Anyone exposed to the virus in this location on the date indicated is expected to develop symptoms up to and including November 28.
  • The BOARD ROOM GAME CAFÉ (1256 Barrington St, Halifax) on November 14th from 9.30pm until closing. Anyone exposed to the virus in this location on the date indicated is expected to develop symptoms up to and including November 28.
  • Bearly’s House of Blues & Ribs (1269 Barrington St, Halifax) November 14 from 10:30 pm until closing. Anyone exposed to the virus in this location on the date indicated is expected to develop symptoms up to and including November 28.
  • Durty Nellys (1645 Argyle St, Halifax) November 15th between 4.30pm and closing; November 16th from 4.30pm and closing; November 19th from 10.30pm and closing; and November 20 between 10:00 and 14:00 Anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the dates indicated is expected to develop symptoms up to and including December 4.
  • Nova Scotia Health – QEII Halifax Infirmary X-ray Department Waiting Area (1799 Robie St, Halifax) November 17 between 8:45 am and 10:45 am It is expected that anyone who has been exposed to the virus at this location on the date indicated can develop symptoms up to and including December 1st.
  • Darrell’s Halifax (5516 Fenwick St, Halifax) November 17 between 6pm and 9pm. Anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the date indicated is expected to develop symptoms until, Dec. 1.
  • Kai Brady’s aka The Fickle Frog Pub (5679 Spring Garden Rd, Halifax) November 17th from 11.30pm until closing. Anyone exposed to the virus in this location on the date indicated is expected to develop symptoms up to and including December 1.
  • Mary’s African Cuisine (1701 Barrington St, Halifax) November 19 between 7pm and 9pm It is expected that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the date indicated could develop symptoms up to and including December. 3.
  • Obladee Wine Bar (1600 Barrington St, Halifax) November 19 between 9:30 pm and 11:00 pm Anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the date indicated is expected to develop symptoms until, Dec. 3.
  • Jack Astors (107 Shubie Dr, Dartmouth) November 19 between 11:30 and 13:30 Anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the date indicated is expected to develop symptoms until, Dec. 3.
  • Starbucks (5991 Spring Garden Rd, Halifax) November 19 between 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm Anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the date indicated is expected to develop symptoms until, Dec. 3.
  • Freeman’s Little New York (6092 Quinpool Rd, Halifax) November 19 between 2:30 pm and 4:40 pm Anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the date indicated is expected to develop symptoms up to and including December 3.
  • Hermitage (1460 Lower Water St, Halifax) on November 19th between 4pm and closes. Anyone exposed to the virus in this location on the date indicated is expected to develop symptoms up to and including December 3.
  • Sea Smoke Restaurant and Bar (1477 Lower Water St, Halifax) November 19 between 3:30 pm and 8:30 pm Anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the date indicated is expected to develop symptoms up to and including 3 December.
  • Little Oak Bar (1475 Lower Water St, Halifax) on November 19 between 5pm and 10.30pm It is expected that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the date indicated may develop symptoms up to and including December 3.
  • Gahan House (5239 Sackville St, Halifax) November 20 between 8:30 pm and 11:30 pm It is expected that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the date indicated could develop symptoms until, Dec. 4.
  • Halifax Alehouse (1717 Brunswick St, Halifax) November 20th from 9:30 am until closing. Anyone exposed to the virus in this location on the date indicated is expected to develop symptoms up to and including December 4.
  • Sourwood Cider (5576 Cornwallis St, Halifax) on November 20 between 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm It is expected that anyone who has been exposed to the virus at this location on the date indicated may develop symptoms until, Dec. 4.
  • The Local Bar and Restaurant (2037 Gottingen St, Halifax) November 20 between 8:30 pm and 10:30 pm Anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the date indicated is expected to develop symptoms up to, and including, December 4.
  • Orange Theory Fitness (6140 Young St, Halifax) November 17 from 6:30 am to 8:30 am; November 18th from 9:00 to 11:00; November 20 from 8:45 am to 11:15 am; and on November 21 between 7:45 am and 9:45 am. Anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the dates indicated is expected to develop symptoms up to and including December 5.
  • Mercantile Social (1579 Hollis St, Halifax) November 21 between 8:30 PM and 11:00 PM Anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the date indicated is expected to develop symptoms until, Dec. 5.

Please keep in mind:

  • Do not go directly to a COVID-19 assessment center without being ordered to do so

Currently, anyone traveling to Nova Scotia outside the Atlantic provinces should isolate themselves for 14 days after arrival. If a person traveling for non-essential reasons enters Nova Scotia from a country outside Atlantic Canada, everyone in the home to which they are isolating will also have to self-isolate.
