The Angolan government is taking the final steps towards privatizing the 25% that Sonangol holds in Banco Caixa Geral Angola (BCGA), controlled by Caixa Geral de Depósitos. According to information provided to the PUBLIC by the Angolan Ministry of Finance, the privatization will take place through a public tender, and is expected to “be completed in the first quarter of 2021”.
