King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center chairman of the board, Princess Ghida Talal, has launched the King Hussein Award for Cancer Research, in memory of King Hussein bin Talal, and to consolidate scientific research in the field of cancer in the Arab world.
The princess said: “The Hussein Prize is honored to bear the name of Hussein bin Talal, who believed in the importance of research and tackled cancer with faith and determination. This award will transform the course of research in the Arab region and dedicate his efforts to scientific progress to save thousands of cancer patients “.
