A-Cubed, the outpost of Silicon Valley of Airbus, has launched an open source public blockchain project with the aim of assisting charities and non-profit organizations that use cryptocurrencies and smart contracts .
The Airbus Foundation, the European aerospace giant philanthropic game, is the first to use the Ethereum-based blockchain technology developed by Heritage.
According to A-Cubed, Heritage will provide the Airbus Foundation with a decentralized application to accept and manage cryptocurrency donations for themselves and their partners.
"Many of the organizations that would benefit most from the blockchain do not have access because of resources or knowledge gaps: Heritage wants to open these organizations to a new class of donors," A-Cubed explained.
In addition to the charitable organization of Airbus, the animal protection organization HartSong Ranch Animal Sanctuary and the Museum of Art, Design and Entertainment also participated in the A-Cubed pilot campaign, which consisted of in an internal test of the donation platform. Fundraising and donations is the first case of use for the Heritage platform, with A-Cubed trying to implement the same technology for its internal business applications.

"By releasing this project as open source, the project seeks to set or contribute to standards in this emerging space," wrote the company in a statement.

The estate records donation data as an ERC-721 token owned by the donor. A-Cubed said that when a donation is made through the assets, the donation is recorded together with the address of the Ethereum donor and the amount of the donation. The assets may also register and issue information on the donation certificate for tax purposes.
