The free course includes tutorials, practical challenges and krypton-based prizes.

Aeternity has partnered with the online peer-to-peer Dacade training service to teach blockchain to beginners, according to a recent blog post.

Called "Introduction to the blockchain", the free course will teach future users, entrepreneurs and developers "the basics of blockchain technology" and will also reward students with the Aeternity token of the company for the development of technology for the application practice.

Aeternity uses open block public blockchain technology to "deliver unparalleled efficiency, transparent governance and global scalability".

"Eternity and Dacia are united by the firm belief that blockchain technology will play an important role in many aspects of our common future, and we are investing in ways to bring this technology closer to the mainstream," said Nikola Stojanow, CBDO of aeternity and CEO of aeternity Ventures in a statement. "The Äternity learning community on the Dacade platform will instruct future entrepreneurs, users and developers to identify the unique benefits of blockchain and become aware of possible applications."

The course is described in the post as a "non-technical introduction" and is designed for beginners of blockchain.

The course will be taught mainly through the tutorial, giving users the opportunity to test and develop their skills through practical challenges. Developers will also receive code reviews on their proposals.

"Through our cooperation, we aim to address the challenge of providing an accessible and practicable blockchain instruction in a scalable manner," commented Moritz Stellmacher, founder of Dacade. "We believe that a decentralized approach to blockchain education will make it not only more scalable and accessible, but also flexible enough to accommodate new information as it becomes available, and I am excited to see what new blockchain cases will be used by students."
