This course will be offered from February 2019 and was created to meet the growing demand for those who know Blockchain, according to The Strait Times, a Singapore broadcaster.

This course will focus on the introductory and beginners aspects of the blockchain. It will focus on creating cryptography, creating and developing blockchain systems and smart contracts. Although these are introductory aspects of blockchain technology, the content that is taught is a good segway in the deepest blockchain, and is just technical enough to ensure that those who take the class are really interested in all that is blockchain. To be also selected to register for the program you need to have a similar degree, understand the coding language and pass a mandatory online quiz, with a score of 75% or higher.

The instructor who guides the students interested in the blockchain is dr. Ernie Teo. Teo's credentials include the role of scientific researcher at the IBM Center for Blockchain Innovation in Singapore. Classes are scheduled in three-hour sessions that take place on weekdays in the evening. A large six-hour session is scheduled to take place every Saturday for two months. The total time spent in the course is 120 hours and can cost up to $ 1,284 or at least $ 284, depending on various factors such as age, income, etc. Those outside of Singapore are required to pay $ 4,280 for the course.
