Several employees of a Vancouver grocery store test positive for COVID-19

Over the weekend, several grocery stores and Shoppers Drug Mart locations in and around Vancouver and Metro Vancouver confirmed that employees tested positive for suspected COVID-19.

Here are the new cases reported:

• FreshCo – 7450120 St, Surrey, BC (Employee last worked on November 10)
• Shoppers Drug Mart – 10153 King George Hwy, Surrey (Two team members tested positive on a presumed test for COVID-19. Employees last worked on November 4 and 7)
• Shoppers Drug Mart – 18677 Fraser Hwy, Surrey (Employee last worked on November 9th)
• Shoppers Drug Mart – 20159 88th Ave, Langley (Employee last worked on November 9th)
• True Canadian Superstore – 19851 Willowbrook Drive, Langley (Two team members tested positive for COVID-19 allegedly. Employees last worked November 6 and 10)
• True Canadian Superstore – 333 Seymour Blvd, North Vancouver (Employee last worked on November 9th)
• Your independent grocer – 1255 Davie Street, Vancouver (The employee last worked on November 6)

Loblaws and Sobeys regularly report cases in their stores across Canada.

On Friday, health officials announced 617 new coronavirus cases in British Columbia.
