In 2014 Eurovision was to be won by Conchita Wurst, an Austrian transsexual by the real name Thomas “Tom” Neuwirth. Six years later, the man with the beard, the painted nails, the fake bra and the women’s dresses no longer looks like the person who won the famous music contest.
The song “Rise like a Phoenix” won the contest and Conchita Wurst went down in history as the second transgender to win Eurovision, after Dana International (Israel) in 1998.
At 32 years old Thomas “Tom” Neuwirth it looks totally different: it doesn’t remember the artist who won at Eurovision, the 2014 edition.
