“What you see here is a living demonstration of innovation designed for clean growth,” he said, adding that “this farm alone is equivalent to half of what all of Colombia had in August 2018”.
He explained that the solar panels of the solar park, financed by Grupo Éxito, have more than 12 megabytes of installed capacity, which are equivalent to the energy consumption of over 8,000 households.
The president said this is proof that self-generation can be done in a different way and added that the government wants to continue multiplying these projects. He announced that another plant will be delivered to Bayunca (Bolívar) next week.
