One of the largest extraordinary white sharks ever tagged was “pinged” near Florida.
The female shark, named Unama’ki, played Sunday off Vero Beach, at which point a few days after the fact off Key Largo. Two months earlier, the shark had been tracked off Nova Scotia.
Ocearch said in a Facebook post in October that Unama’ki was on a comparative trip while two other incredible huge white women the group was monitoring, and the expectation was that she was pregnant and could take the researchers to where she will give birth.
Unama’ki is over 15 feet long and weighs more than 2,000 pounds.
Ocearch is a data-centric association that assists researchers in monitoring ocean fauna, with labels on whales, dolphins and turtles, despite sharks.
Ocearch offered a tracking page for Unama’ki, as well as two other amazing white sharks to follow: Luna and Lydia.
