For a (very) short time, Amazon Prime offered Eurosport Player for as little as 1 cent. The price of the joke has now been withdrawn.

Contrary to the announcement that the 1 cent offer will initially run through the end of the year, Amazon has now reintroduced normal supply-side pricing. This means € 5.99 per month after a free 30-day period.

This also includes Friday night matches and selected late Saturday matches, Monday and Sunday in advance of the current 2020/21 season by DAZN. They will be broadcast live on DAZN’s “Bundesliga Live” on Eurosport 2 HD Xtra. You can read what else Eurosport Player has to offer – now back at regular price – in the previous day’s DF article.

In retrospect, one would think that the offer with the joke price of only 1 cent was definitely a fake. But that was not the case at all, as the image below shows. Since, as mentioned, DAZN Bundesliga games are included in the offer, the fans couldn’t believe their eyes anyway.

Amazon’s offer was not fake, as this screenshot shows. However, there seems to be a reason it was only bookable for a few hours

Yesterday, around 9 pm, the hustle and bustle ended again, as many members of the DF online forum reported. If you still want to try the service, you can still get the free month via this link.
