The moon rises at noon and reaches its highest point in the sky coinciding with the setting of the sun and will remain visible until it sets after midnight based on local time.

According to the Astronomical Society of Jeddah, after that, the moon will arrive at the time of the first quarter on Sunday morning at 10:15 KSA (08:15 GMT) and thus cut a quarter of the distance in its orbit around the Earth.

The period of the first square, in which half of the moon and the other half is dark, is the ideal time to observe the topography of the lunar surface with binoculars or a small telescope, because the mountains, craters, etc. They are very sharp, especially along the line that separates the bright side from the dark side due to the interference of light and shadow, which gives a vision. Three-dimensional, during the next few days, the distance between the moon and the sun in the dome of the sky will increase every night, as the moon approaches the full moon stage, so instead of the afternoon moon rise, it will be delayed until rises with the sunset.
