Altice Portugal strengthens customer service and incorporates 2,000 Intelcia – Business employees

Altice Portugal continues to strengthen its investments in the outsourcing area by entering into an agreement with Intelcia, one of the main players in the sector, and with over 20 years of experience, present in Portugal since September 2018. Altice Portugal, owner 65% of the company, stresses that the investment is also intended to stimulate the Portuguese economy and the creation of jobs, with a focus on the customer and the quality of service, in the development of its strategic pillars, one of its priorities for next three years, a strategy now accomplished, which was revealed earlier this year, ahead of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Intelcia becomes Altice Portugal’s preferred customer service provider. “The Customer Care and Commercial areas, insured up to now by Egor Outsourcing and Randstad Prestação de Serviços, will be fully taken over by Intelcia Portugal which, being an international player in the market, will continue to provide activities outside the Altice ecosystem, and already relying on a solid portfolio of customers, in the technology, telecommunications and insurance sectors, ”the company said in a statement.

For the telecommunications operator, the partnership with Intelcia means, from a business point of view, the incorporation of about 2,000 workers in Intelcia, “not only guaranteeing the full maintenance of all the conditions that the employees had in the company of origin (conditions work, salary and seniority guarantee), but taking a qualitative step, with the attribution of health insurance to all these employees, an unprecedented advantage in this area of ​​activity “. Altice emphasizes the experience, opportunities and social policy that Intelcia provides, in the different countries and services it provides.

Intelcia is present in 16 countries and has 24,000 employees, with expansion plans for 2021, enhancing multilingual skills and customer service. The United States will represent an important geography for the company, foreseeing an increase in the number of employees and linguistic diversification and specialization in the areas of ITO and BPO in B2C and B2B relationship management, business process outsourcing, IT solutions and digital services.
