The new Renault MÉGANE Sedan adopts a more elegant and refined style. The interior is modernized with a 10-inch dashboard and 9.3-inch vertical screens that integrate the Renault EASY LINK connected multimedia system. With a more refined design, it is equipped with the latest technologies for greater safety and superior driving comfort and affirms its style, consolidating its attractiveness for an increasingly demanding clientele.
Elegant and refined design
The new Mégane Sedan integrates 100% Pure Vision LED technology, more efficient on the road, as well as the iconic Renault signature in the shape of the letter C.
At the front it has a new bumper and a new grille that incorporates chrome elements. Air diffusers appear at the front of the wheel springs for improved aerodynamics. On its sides, the new model benefits from a new door design and door handle lighting.
The new model is available in seven exterior colors, including the new Highland Gray, and is equipped with new 16 to 17-inch wheels.
An ergonomic, modernized and comfortable interior
The new Mégane Sedan is equipped with a digital dashboard up to 10 inches. It integrates the GPS navigation system to customize the driving experience in a very intuitive way. The dashboard also incorporates (depending on the equipment level) a new 9.3-inch multimedia screen for a display that is twice as large.
The vertical positioning of this screen modernizes the interior. With its new Renault EASY LINK connected multimedia system, Mégane Sedan offers all navigation and infotainment functions, as well as MULTI-SENSE settings. For greater ergonomics, the driver assistance controls are grouped on the steering wheel and the console controls (such as the temperature display) are more accessible.
Personalized driving experience
Benefiting from a new smoother and more intuitive interface, the Renault EASY LINK multimedia system uses the same codes and is used exactly like a smartphone, integrating voice recognition, in compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The navigation system also allows you to search for Google addresses, fuel prices and traffic information in real time. Through the Renault EASY CONNECT offer, the MY Renault smartphone application facilitates new uses of connected mobility, both inside and outside the vehicle: remote interaction, vehicle location, door-to-door navigation, etc.
With four driving modes (Eco, Comfort, Sport and MySense – depending on the engine), Renault MULTI-SENSE technology evolves to make the experience even more exciting. New features include improved ergonomics to be more intuitive, simplified settings, new ambient colors and the R-Sound application for engine sound.
The digital dashboard screens (7 and 10 inches) offer a customizable display area with some widgets, such as fuel consumption in Eco mode and power in Sport mode.
New driver assistance systems to improve safety
The new Mégane Sedan incorporates new assistance systems to make the onboard experience safer and more enjoyable:
– Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go function maintains the distance in front of the vehicle at a certain speed and regulates acceleration and braking.
– The active emergency braking system is enhanced with pedestrian detection. Maximizes safety by warning the driver of a dangerous situation and can apply the brake if the driver does not react.
– Rear Cross Traffic Alert detects an approaching obstacle and warns the driver when driving in reverse.
In addition, the Auto-Hold function has been improved, which allows the driver to park with the brake released, for greater comfort in the city. An efficient range of engines enriched by the 1.0 TCe engine
The new Mégane Sedan offers a wider range of engines, adapted to the numerous customer needs and compatible with the new regulations established by the Euro 6D FULL standard:
– Petrol-powered, it offers the new 1.0 TCe direct injection engine, in an efficient 116 HP version (with manual gearbox) optimized to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The 1.3 TCe engine, equipped with a particulate filter, is also available in the 140 HP version (6-speed manual transmission and 7-speed EDC dual-clutch automatic transmission).
– On the diesel, the 1.5 Blue dCi engine is available in the 116 HP version (with 6-speed manual gearbox and 7-speed EDC dual-clutch automatic transmission).
