Opel has announced the opening of orders for the new Crossland. The compact SUV is expected to reach dealerships in early 2021 and the price ranges between 19,600 euros (1.2 Business Edition) and 28,600 euros (1.5 Turbo D GS Line). In this launch phase it will be sold in Business Editions, Elegance and GS Line versions with a petrol and diesel solution. In this update, the SUV acquires a dynamic appearance by adopting the new “face” of the brand and inserting the letter “X” in the designation. Thus, Opel Vizor makes the headlights and grille interconnected across the entire width of the car. At the rear, darkened light clusters reinforce the wing-shaped light signature. Also noteworthy are the new front and rear lower guards, the front LED fog lights and the 16 and 17 inch wheels.
As for the interior, the appearance is quite identical, but with curiosity for customers. This is the case of the rear seats that slide lengthwise up to 150 mm, thus increasing the luggage compartment from 410 to 520 liters. Folding the second row of seats increases capacity to 1255 liters. In addition, the new suspension guarantees, according to the brand, good comfort for all passengers. In terms of connectivity, we point out the eight-inch central screen that can receive three types of infotainment (BT Radio, Multimedia Radio or Multimedia Navi Pro.
Moving on to the engine range, here we find diesel and petrol solutions. Starting with the Diesel, customers have at their disposal the 1.5 Turbo D engine with two power levels: 110 or 120 horsepower. The smaller variant is associated with a six-speed manual gearbox, while the second uses a six-speed automatic gearbox. In gasoline, there are four options. We are talking about the atmospheric 1.2 with 83 hp and 118 Nm and five-speed manual gearbox. There is also the 110 PS and 205 Nm 1.2 Turbo (six-speed manual transmission) and the same 130 PS and 230 Nm engine (with six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission).
