3.40pm UPDATE: BTC falls below $ 7,000
Bitcoin has lost 17% in the last twelve days, after a bullish rise for most of July, and currently falls 65% from its December high.
BTC opened the day under $ 7,000 for the first time since April, while prices continue to fall.
Analysts fear that the market may continue to fall in the coming days, with 2018 failing to bring prices back to the highs seen in 2017.
