Coinbase has just announced the opening of its new office in Portland, Oregon, on Twitter. The giant crypt of San Francisco now has seven offices worldwide.
Coinbase has published photos of the inaugural ceremony of the office on Twitter today. The cryptic company added that it was "inspired by the diverse technology community of Portland and the deep pool of talent".

Coinbase announced that it will open an office in Portland in June 2018.
"As part of our plans to continue expanding and growing, Coinbase is opening its new office in Portland, Oregon," the company wrote in a blog post at the time.
Coinbase decided to open the office in Portland after exploring "a variety of different cities in the United States". After an in-depth analysis, the Coinbase team decided to be "inspired by incredibly talented, innovative open source and blockchain communities," adding that they too appreciated Portland's commitment to providing equal opportunities for all ", as it reflects our values at Coinbase ".
This is not a short-term move:
"Coinbase has signed a seven-year lease on its new Portland office, with renovations taking place in the second half of 2018. As of 10 January 2019, the Portland Coinbase office is now operational."
The Coinbase office in Portland will host a range of business-related functions. In recent months, Coinbase has hired customer support agents, financial specialists and compliance personnel, IT and human resources. Initially, the company aimed to add 100 jobs to the local economy, although it is not clear how many employees have hired.

Starting from January 2019, Coinbase it has seven offices all over the world, including the headquarters in San Francisco and satellite offices in New York, Chicago and Portland. All over the world, Coinbase has opened offices in London, Tokyo and Dublin.
Clearly, the continuous crypto-bear market has not dampened Coinbase's desire to continue to grow across the country and around the world.
