Surprising, but true. The Chinese Center for the Development of the Information Industry (CCID) published its fourth "Crypto project ranking", in which the first 3 positions were taken by EOS, Ethereum and Komodo. Bitcoin is in tenth place.
The CCID began the classification process in May, where it classified a total of 28 cryptocurrencies. During the following 3 months, he added two, one and two coins respectively to the listing. The last ranking released puts EOS and Ethereum in the first two positions.
However, the biggest surprise is that Komodo rises to the third position compared to the previous ranking of 10. It is said to be a ambitious project that allows independent blockchain developers to start their own project and create an ICO. Furthermore, a decentralized exchange is on the project papers.
Methodology of the ranking
The China Electronics News Agency, which is governed by the CCID, states that the ranking is provided on the basis of "An investigation and a comprehensive evaluation of the public chain by three aspects: basic technology, application and innovation ".
However, the rankings do not take into account the monetary point of view, which includes the price of coins, market capitalization and the volume of trade, which justifies why Bitcoin is not in the best position.
In addition to these, Nebulas is in 4th place, NEO at 5th and Stellar at 6th. Surprisingly, some of the best coins for market capitalization, such as Ripple, Bitcoin cash and Litecoin, are not included in the top 10 of the CCID rankings.
