The Newton Project is unique for its blockchain-built community economy infrastructure.
According to the white paper, "Newton, as a community economy infrastructure, provides comprehensive governance, collaboration, incentives for creating a community economy."
This is done through the technical framework of the Newton project which includes the level of application, the level of the protocol and the fundamental technological level.
The Newton Project's architecture is not just blockchain, but rather a combination of different technologies. The project is a public chain, a digital wallet, IoT, distributed storage and a digital economy. These are based on the five core technologies of the project: NewChain, NewNet, NewIoT, NewAI and Atom Hashing.
Newchain focuses and improves blockchain scalability, performance and privacy controls, and supports flexible data structures, transaction processing mechanisms, and better control of the access authority.
NewNet is an open network that provides secure and reliable storage services and supports databases and multiple common programming languages.
Atom Hashing uses techniques such as artificial vision and deep learning technology to quickly extract multiple features of non-digital resources.
NewIoT includes blockchain gateways, communication protocols between IoT devices and gateways, design specifications, etc.
Niwai it is a distributed artificial intelligence engine that integrates distributed data sources, algorithm models and calculation resources to complete a given task.
Newton Project blockchain-based monitoring devices
With the help of drones and sensors, the Newton Project plans to monitor endangered animals with greater efficiency and accuracy and warn authorities about possible poaching.

This data will then be uploaded to NewChain, the hack-proof blockchain by Newton Project. The analysis of this uploaded data will be performed using Niwai. In the event that suspicious activities are detected during this analysis, the local authorities are planned to be notified immediately.
Implementation: still a long way to go?
This ambitious project looks quite promising on paper. However, it is still to be determined how the project intends to plant the proposed sensors on a significant scale on animal skin.
There is no indication that the technologies mentioned in the plan are still at the prototype level, nor is it clear how much it would cost for successful implementation of the system.
