Blockchain Cuties, a decentralized encryption game already available on two blockchain platforms – Ethereum (ETH) and EOS – has recently added a third platform based on the decentralized TRON protocol. Blockchain Cuties has announced that the TRON version of the game will have unique content, including Cuties, elements and probably positions.
Future of DApps
"We have looked for the opportunity to work with TRON since June 2018 and now we are finally here", says Vladimir Tomko, CEO of Blockchain Cuties. The game developer believes that the addition of the TRON community will give users more opportunities to represent their Cuties on the battlefield. In addition, the team hopes that the integration of Blockchain Cuties to the TRON platform will also help to achieve the highest transaction speed offering more options for gameplay. The TRON team believes that an extension through the sidechain will help achieve the goal of 1,000 transactions per second (TPS). In comparison, Ethereum enables 15 TPS and Bitcoin 7 TPS.
Blockchain Cuties says he has a similar vision with TRON. Launched in August 2017, TRON was announced as "a decentralized blockchain-based protocol that aims to build a free content entertainment system around the world with blockchain and distributed storage technology." The idea of the new project was to allow users to publish, archive and their data are owned by its creators, artists and screenwriters rather than "the capitalists who consume them". This principle is accompanied by the concept of Blockchain Cuties: the game developer says that players have finally obtained full ownership of the value of Cutie they created. The startup notes that non-fungible tokens can not be taken by their owners and no one can dictate players on terms of use. "Thus, Blockchain Cuties and TRON are on the same page in terms of the TRON mission," says Blockchain Cuties.
Blockchain Cuties is the first encrypted game to be collected on TRON Arcade, the special $ 100 million fund created by TRON. "TRON Arcade will play a crucial role in encouraging developers to join our mission and deliver the best blockchain gaming experience to users all over the world," said TRON founder and CEO Justin Sun.
Multi-blockchain cuties
The game was released in April 2018 on Ethereum (ETH) as part of the boom in cryptographic games to be collected that began with the launch of CryptoPunks – the first blockchain game ever made – in June 2017.
Developers have offered users the ability to collect, breed and exchange non-fungible tokens of different animals – including cats, lizards, puppies, bears and, more valuable, fantastic creatures. Each Cutie has different characteristics such as combing, eye color and beard. All these different characteristics of digital resources increase its value in cryptocurrency and performance. Players can also take part in roll-the-dice battles inside the game. The TRON version of the game will include exclusive TRON Cuties, which are Red Hedgehog, Fairy Dragon, Bear-o-Bull, LilTronbeary and Tronbeary, and many others.
In November 2018 Blockchain Cuties announced a partnership with EOS. Enabling the game on the ecosystem EOS has made Blockchain Cuties "the first game that officially supports two blockchains at the same time", says the developer. Now, users have the ability to create both ETH and EOS Cuties. Furthermore, one of the main reasons for the partnership with EOS has been the support of non-fungible tokens provided by the platform. Finally, Blockchain Cuties hopes that EOS will help speed up transactions: for example, importing a private key takes less than a minute, which is then stored locally.
