Comcast Cable Advertising has launched the next phase of blockchain, according to the official announcement.
The announcement states the blockchain tech has been working together with its partners on the collaborative effort. The company also highlights that blockchain is the "identity layer" for the TV industry.
Blockgraph platform, a blockchain-based software, "incubated to date within Comcast's FreeWheel group."
Blockgraph will help solve data verification challenges for all participants within the TV adv ecosystem.
Comcast is already working with NBCUniversal on testing.
