The new park behind the new Circle offices and shopping mall will be open to the public from November 5th. With it, a new meeting and recreation place will be created directly at Zurich airport. During the nearly two-year construction period, a new local recreation area on the Butzenbüel was created on 80,000 m2 of green space. The range of uses places emphasis on nature experiences and aims to achieve a balance between nature and park visitors.

“We are very pleased to open the park to our visitors since the beginning of November. The new meeting place brings nature into the urban airport environment and increases the quality of stay at Zurich airport. A trip to the new park is worthwhile. There is a lot to discover and it can also be combined with a visit to the Circle, which opens at the same time, ”says Manuela Staub, Communications Manager at Zurich Airport.
