One user is suing Yahoo for the cyber attack that exposed 500 million accounts.
The lawsuit was filed on Friday by the American Ronald Schwartz of New York. User accuses Yahoo of negligence.
Yahoo has shown “gross negligence regarding the security of users’ personal data, data for which it has pledged protection,” Schwartz’s complaint reads. It also notes the delay with which Yahoo discovered the security breach.
