As the year nears its end, the markets that have gathered have stabilized, but Christmas has yet to come, and Changpeng Zhao [CZ], Binance's CEO, could just be the Santa the XRP community he's looking for, while he was making fun of the possibility that XRP was a base pair on Binance.
The movement of the "XRP base pair" dates back a few months when a crypto-influencer, C3 Nik, tweeted, asking CZ to add XRP as a base pair on Binance. 
This movement gained a lot of adherence from the XRP community as the tweet got over 191,000 impressions, with almost 2,000 retweets.
Although CZ has not replied or replied to the tweet, users and the community have not given up on the move. A Twitter user, The Modern Investor, commented on one of CZ's tweets, saying:
"CZ, the amount of money that Binance will make with XRP as a base pair will be staggering, the hype is real because the technology is healthy, and I mean … come on, you've listed the first and third currency as base pairs , why not the second biggest coin on the market? "
Ominous Raven, replied:
"Think that CZ is playing … knows it in the works"
It was thought that the efforts were lost, until an iZombieXRP user commented on the recent CZ tweet asking for a Camaro or XRP as a base pair. He tweeted:
"There is 2 choice here, but you need to choose one 🙂
1- buy a camaro for christmas (too much for a billionaire you should choose the second)
2-xrp base pair (this will make a good Christmas to us) "
CZ has replied to iZombieXRP:
People in the XRP community are now fascinated by this response and are waiting for the news to be officially announced. However, some people are watching CZ's comment in a negative way.
