Xiaomi Vlog 2.0, new modes and improvements

With the arrival of the Mi Note 10 family which also contained the Mi Note 10 Pro model, Xiaomi brought the Vlog mode for the first time. More than a year after its inception, Xiaomi has started updating this Vlog mode with a 2.0 version.

Vlog mode is all about creating small clips with simple editing made from various models that Xiaomi has designed. This creative video mode was a major advancement of the campaign in offering more video content, but it was too subject to Xiaomi’s opinions, in a way that didn’t allow too many adjustments by the user.

Now, after this update, Vlog 2.0 mode will improve the usability and handling of this mode.

These are the improvements that the Vlog mode receives with its 2.0 version that the Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco smartphones have

1. With the Vlog 2.0 version we can save small clips that will not be subject to being in the same position over time. That is to say, the user can record these small clips, be saved in the gallery and use them later to create the video montage. In this way, being able to record every day in a different place and edit the video at a later time. Also, clips can be made for as long as we want. These two problems that the first version had have been solved.
2. With Vlog 2.0 there will be an area where templates for editing clips can be downloaded, increasing the possibilities of different types of videos with a greater variety of effects and sounds.
3. Recording now allows you to silence notifications so they don’t disturb us while recording clips.
4. Zooming between clips is allowed and the preview will not return to 1x.
5. Pressing the camera icon in our Xiaomi’s Vlog 2.0 mode will bring up a menu with multiple shooting shortcuts.

This Vlog 2.0 mode update has currently started rolling out in the Chinese ROM, so we hope that in the coming months Xiaomi will release this improvement in the global ROM for all users.
