The smartphone market has begun to show signs of recovery, although it is still below the figures achieved in 2019.
Xiaomi has overtaken Apple in mobile phone sales and now the Chinese tech company is the world’s third largest supplier of “smartphones,” according to data from US consultancy Gartner.
In the first two quarters of 2020, the world sales fell 20%, but in the third quarter they began to show signs of recovery and overall 366 million units, 5.7% less than in the same period of 2019.
