The Redmi brand belongs to the Xiaomi ecosystem and is now a trusted name for many technology consumers. We know that the names associated with Xiaomi share many models with it, quite similar, but to date we have not seen a smartwatch associated with Redmi.
However, the Redmi Watch has arrived, the brand’s first smartwatch, with autonomy for 12 days and integrated GPS.
Yesterday was marked by the launch of the new smartphones of the Redmi Note 9 line. In particular, the line now has Redmi Note 9 Pro, Note 9 5G and Note 9 4G. But it was more models than expected that come to confirm many of the rumors that have circulated on the net recently.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro, for example, is priced from € 200 and already has a 108MP camera, 120Hz refresh rate screen, NFC and has a 4820mAh battery. Furthermore, the processor is a Snapdragon 750G.
But the big news is the new smart watch. The Redmi Watch emerges as the brand's first smartwatch and could hit the international market under the Xiaomi brand ... which, incidentally, wouldn't be surprising.
Xiaomi lança smartwatch Redmi Watch
The Redmi Watch is an iconic design watch for the segment. Rectangular screen and rubber bracelet, in four different colors and metal frame.
The color screen is 1.4-inch, with automatic brightness adjustment and is water resistant (5 ATM), which will make it an ideal product for water activities.
It comes with built-in GPS, which allows you to enjoy monitored outdoor sports, without the need for a smartphone nearby. Plus, it still has NFC.
Obviously, it includes monitoring of sports activities, monitoring of sleep and sedentary lifestyle, issuing alerts to the user.
In terms of autonomy, the brand speaks from 7 to 12 days of use. Of course, this is a value that will also depend a lot on the physical activity of the users.
For now the watch is only available in China, for 299 yuan, about 38 €. It is expected to reach more markets soon.
